The hunt for the perfect seasonal sip is over. This April, Fern Bar & Dining invites you to trade the traditional for the exceptional with our latest curated collection: The Flavours of EASTER.
Designed in collaboration with the artisans at Little Lon Distilling Co., this trio of liquid indulgences is a nod to the nostalgic notes of the season. We have taken the quintessential elements of Easter, from rich cocoa and golden honey to spiced botanicals, to create a trio of seasonal cocktails.
Whether you are after a heavy hitting cocoa Old Fashioned or a bright botanical glow, this is the only way to do the season in Melbourne.
Available throughout April at the Bar or as a curated addition to your dining experience for $22 each.
The Collection
Honey Bunny. Little Lon Whiskey provides a robust backbone to the delicate sweetness of honey syrup and Licor 43. Double-shaken with heavy cream and Fee Foam to create a luxuriously thick, cloud-like texture, it is served in an elegant Nick & Nora glass. Finished with a chocolate egg and sprinkles, it’s a sophisticated treat that hops right over the edge of indulgence.
Choc Old-Fashioned. This is a rich, moody reimagining of the world’s most iconic cocktail. Little Lon Whiskey is stirred with decadent chocolate liqueur and the earthy depth of chocolate walnut bitters. Muddled with fresh orange peel and a touch of sugar for a bright citrus finish, it’s served over ice and crowned with a playful chocolate carrot. It’s an adult Easter basket in a rocks glass.
Carrot Cake. Earthy, bright, and undeniably clever. Little Lon ‘Ginger Mick’ Gin leads the way, shaken with fresh-pressed carrot juice, ginger syrup, and a hint of Cointreau for a spiced, citrusy glow. Served in a tumbler with a savory-sweet house-made cream cheese rim, it’s a vibrant, botanical sprint that tastes exactly like its namesake.
